Vicki Arthur has more than twenty-five years experience in the fields of publicity, promotion, advertising and marketing for both the entertainment and corporate arenas, as well as many charitable fundraisers, galas and events. This experience led to the formation of an innovative new public relations agency in 1981.

For the 1984 Olympics, V.A.P.R. staged a special Hollywood Welcome for the International Gymnastics Federation. More than one hundred and fifty sports and show business celebrities welcomed officials representing over forty nations worldwide. The company has organized and promoted numerous charitable events, fund raisers, and celebrity sporting events, including a celebrity golf tournament in conjunction with Senator Robert Dole’s office to raise money for the Kansas Child Abuse Prevention Centers, and celebrity fund-raisers for United Cerebral Palsy, the Starlight Foundation and Amnesty International, among many, many others.

Vicki Arthur’s additional experience includes: Publicity Director at several motion picture studios and independent production companies, as well as for the Los Angeles celebrity fund-raisers for Senator Edward Kennedy’s 1980 Presidential Campaign. She also served as Unit Publicist on the motion pictures THE STUNT MAN starring Peter O’Toole, CARNY starring Jodi Foster and Gary Busey; and HOW TO BEAT THE HIGH COST OF LIVING starring Jessica Lange. Her television work has included serving as Unit Publicist for the Operation Prime Time mini-series THE BASTARD, An Evening in Byzantium, and THE SEEKERS, as well as much network publicity experience.

Vicki Arthur has an extensive and varied background in the Hollywood entertainment industry which has given her wide access to vital media contacts, including newspapers, magazines, television, radio, cable, and trade press, both nationally and abroad.

Vicki Arthur is also a prominent figure in many industry organizations, including Publicists Guild of America, the Public Relations Society of America, Entertainment Publicist Professional Society, the Hollywood Women’s Press Club, Women in Film, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and served as Vice-president of the Publicists Guild.
